Thousands Of Apps For The iPad

Thousands Of Apps For The iPad

While Apple boasts thousands of apps for the iPad, and when we say thousands we are talking over 150,000, there are some that many of us will never use. For instance, they have the Table of Elements, now unless you are in college or maybe even High School, or a chemist or some sort of scientist who else would need it?

The iPad does have tons of apps that most of us would use or at least try though, everything from leisurely to educational and even business apps.  They are working on additional apps though, so it will be interesting to find out what they come up with, as if over 150,000 apps aren’t enough!

One app that some users might find very interesting and useful is their Epicurious app. With this app all you need to do is type in one of the ingredients you are wanting to use in a dish in the search box and it will return several recipes that have that ingredient in them.  Most likely you would want to use the main ingredient to search for to come up with the recipes you are wanting. For instance, let’s say you are burned out on chicken and have used up all your recipes, type in fried, baked, boiled, grilled etc. chicken and you could find many more recipes you might have never thought of before. Spicy things up a bit in the kitchen.

If your into games there are many apps also. Everything from brain games to racing.  The great thing about the iPad and gaming is that the display is very crisp and rich and with the ultra fast processor and multi-orientation screen it’s something you just won’t understand unless you have seen and tried it. You can also go from portrait to landscape just by turning the tablet around. If your a Suddoku or Scrabble fan you are going to love these apps, there’s also many others such as Superstar Chef, Traffic Rush, Balloons Light and more.

If your into speed, then you are going to love the racing games! There’s even Need for Speed and Fast and Furious, Real Racing and Asphalt are also a couple more. There are close to 100 racing games on the iPad so you are bound to find one you enjoy.

The best thing is, you can pick and choose which apps you want and which you can do without, and if there is something you didn’t think you needed but later find out you do, you can always download it later.  A lot like the iTouch there are many apps you don’t realize you want or need until later, and so it’s so easy to grab the ones you want when you want them.
